"The Nutcracker" on Ice in Vladivostok
Audiences at Vladivostok’s Fetisov Arena are in for a treat with Tatiana Navka’s ice show "The Nutcracker"—a fresh interpretation of the famous fairy tale inspired by Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s ballet. This story of love, courage, and magical transformations combines the artistry of figure skating stars with music, drama, and cutting-edge technology.
A Fairy Tale Reimagined
At the heart of the production is Marie, who uses the power of her imagination to travel between the real world and a realm of fantasy. Familiar characters appear in a unique visual setting where figure skating becomes part of a grand spectacle. Tchaikovsky’s classical score is complemented by modern musical arrangements, while over 120 designer costumes, multimedia effects, and complex stunts create a dynamic, ever-changing stage landscape. The characters are voiced by Nikolai Baskov, Jasmine, Konstantin Khabensky, Sergey Lazarev, Ani Lorak, and Timur Rodriguez.
Fetisov Arena
The show will take place at the Fetisov Arena in Vladivostok—a major sports and entertainment complex that hosts large-scale competitions, concerts, and ice productions. The spacious arena accommodates complex stage equipment and allows the production to unfold on a grand scale, ensuring the audience has a great view of the action on the ice.
