Victoria Sinitsina

Victoria Alexandrovna Sinitsina is an outstanding Russian figure skater who has dedicated herself to the art of ice dance since early childhood. Born on April 29, 1995, in Moscow, she began figure skating at the age of four. Initially, Victoria tried her hand at singles skating, but soon found her calling in ice dancing.

Until 2014, Sinitsina performed with Ruslan Zhiganshin, with whom she achieved significant success: bronze at the Russian Championships (2014), victory at the World Junior Championships (2012), and gold medal at the Junior Grand Prix Final (2011). However, Victoria's real career breakthrough came after teaming up with Nikita Katsalapov in the 2014/2015 season.

With Katsalapov, they have won numerous awards, including bronze and silver at the 2022 Olympics, the World Championship title (2021), and two European (2020, 2022) and Russian (2019, 2020) Championships. An Honored Master of Sports of Russia since 2020, Victoria was also awarded the Order of Friendship in 2022.

Victoria's personal life is no less eventful: in May 2022, Nikita Katsalapov proposed to her, and the couple officially married in October.
