Nika Egadze, student of Eteri Tutberidze received silver at the Nepela CS Memorial

21-year-old Georgian figure skater, one of the students of coach Eteri Tutberidze, won silver at the Nepela Memorial tournament in Slovakia, demonstrating his short program. According to the judges' decision, she became the best. South Korean Jun Hwan Cha received second place in this category of the tournament. Third place went to Denis Vasiliev, representing Latvia. 

The Nepela Memorial took place on September 29 and 30, 2023.  As part of the tournament, skaters competed in men's and women's singles skating, as well as ice dancing. The tournament brought together athletes representing 22 countries. 

The next tournament in the career of figure skater Nika Egadze will be Skate America 2023. They will be held in Texas and will bring together some of the best athletes in the world performing in singles, pairs skating and ice dancing. 

Well, the next event of Russian figure skating will be the Grand Prix of which we will be following the first three stages in October. They will be held in Ufa, Omsk and Krasnoyarsk and start on October 13. Let us remind you that the final stage of the Grand Prix will be held in Moscow in November.
