The 2025 Russian Figure Skating Championships will be held at the G-Drive Arena from December 18 to 23

In recent years, our athletes have not been able to compete in international tournaments, so national competitions have acquired special significance. Figure skating has always been very popular in Russia, gathering full stands of fans admiring the skill of dancing and jumping on ice. This year, the prize fund has been significantly increased: the winner will receive two and a half million rubles, one and a half million for second place, and a million for third. This is certainly a great incentive in addition to the prestige and the title of champion.

Last year, Evgeny Semenenko and Adelia Petrosyan, representing the Eteri Tutberidze school, won in single skating. Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Galliamov won gold in pair skating, and Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin won in ice dancing. This year, the preliminary list of participants is already known, and the draw will take place on December 18, on the eve of the first performances. The absence of Kamila Valieva, who has not yet completed her disqualification, will be the main loss of the women's tournament, and her place will be taken by Sofia Akateva. Nelyubova, Chaplygina, Tretyakova and Bityushkova will also not participate. The women's tournament will probably pass without any big surprises, but the men's part promises to be tense.

Young and ambitious Vladislav Dikidzhi has already managed to prove himself at the Grand Prix, amazing the audience with his free program, full of energy and impressive jumps. In addition to him, such masters as Evgeny Semenenko, Dmitry Aliev, Roman Savosin, Petr Gumennik and Mark Kondratyuk will be fighting for the victory. The outcome of the men's tournament is difficult to predict, which makes it especially intriguing. In Russia, figure skating is traditionally associated with women's performances, but now the men's direction is also coming to the forefront, delighting the audience with new talents. Tickets to the championship are a chance to see the bright performances of the best figure skaters of the country live and support your favorites on the way to new heights.
