The Junior Championship and the Russian Grand Prix Final in Figure Skating will be held in February
In Saransk On February 8-9, 2025 the Russian Junior Figure Skating Championships will be held on the ice of the Ogarev Arena. The country's strongest juniors will gather in this competition to fight for victory. Previously, this event was a qualifying event for the World Junior Figure Skating Championships, and it is possible that this will be the case this time too. For the second time in a row, the competition will be held in Saransk, where a new modern, comfortable and spacious Ogarev Arena recently opened, which pleases both athletes and spectators.
Junior competitions attract attention with their special tension. Figure skaters aged 13 to 16 manage to successfully perform complex technical elements, which makes their performances more exciting. The competition will feature both singles and pairs, as well as ice dancers. Spectators can expect exciting performances, interesting programs, and new leaders who may be able to repeat the successes of last season!
The final stage of the Russian Grand Prix in figure skating will be held in picturesque Krasnoyarsk at the Crystal Arena February 15 and 16. The competition will feature performances by top-level figure skaters, unique numbers, and famous mentors. The participants of the competition - single skaters, dance pairs and duets - must score the maximum number of points at the Grand Prix stages to get to the final. However, each participant can only perform at two stages. Among the participants will be such famous figures of figure skating as Adelia Petrosyan, Vladislav Dikidzhi, Dmitry Aliev, Roman Savosin, as well as talented sports and dance couples fighting for victory. Only members of the national team automatically qualify for the Grand Prix stages due to strict selection, which determines the high level of participants. The strongest athletes of the territorial organizations of the Russian FFKK also participate.
