Description
Arena Balashikha is a multifunctional sports complex of international class, where sports tournaments, shows, exhibitions, filming of movies and programs are held. Ice Palace Arena Balashikha was put into operation in 2007.
Arena Balashikha is a large multifunctional sports complex, located in the Moscow region city of Balashikha. It is named after Yuri Lyapkin – Honored Master of Sports of the USSR in hockey, participant of the legendary hockey series Canada-USSR of 1972. For a long time it was the home court for the farm clubs of Moscow Dynamo: HC MVD, playing in the MHL, and Dynamo Balashikha, participating in the VHL competitions.
One of the leaders of Russian hockey, Omsk Avangard, is spending this season in Balashikha. The team shows a spectacular game and fights for the highest places.
During the Avangard matches, there is entertainment for the whole family at the Balashikha Arena, there is a great atmosphere, and the club invites all hockey fans to experience it!
In addition to the main arena, equipped with modern lighting, acoustic and sound systems, as well as one of the largest LED screens in Europe, the Balashikha Arena has a standard-sized training rink, a gym, a choreography room and a hall for holding press conferences. The hockey players have at their disposal cozy locker rooms, skate sharpening rooms and a massage room.
Along the entire perimeter of the third floor of the Ice Palace, the main rink is surrounded by 17 VIP boxes, accommodating 12 people each. Each of them is equipped with everything necessary not only for watching a hockey match, but also for a pleasant time with family and friends. Comfortable ergonomic furniture, table, TV, wireless Internet, tea/coffee set, possibility to organize a buffet.
