CSKA Arena

Description

The CSKA Arena complex is a unique sports and entertainment facility, opened in 2015. This is a multifunctional venue that hosts not only hockey matches, but also competitions in other sports, festivals, exhibitions, concerts and show programs of Russian and international level.

The large arena has 12,000 seats for hockey matches and 10,000 seats for concerts and shows. The small arena seats 3,000 spectators, and the training skating rink seats 200. Both arenas are transformable, which allows you to quickly and easily convert them for various events. 

The arena has about 80 comfortable VIP boxes for honored guests, as well as the latest multimedia system. The complex is equipped with its own kitchen and a preparation shop with an area of 600 m2, as well as 10 food courts and 2 children's rooms. Press centers for media work are also available in the large and small arenas. 

The CSKA Arena hosted matches of the 2016 IIHF World Championship and became the venue for the Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game. The Russian national hockey team regularly hosts matches here as part of international tournaments, exhibition matches and the team’s preparation for international competitions. 

For the convenience of athletes, the large arena has 9 locker rooms, including a warm-up room with exercise equipment, a coaching staff office, a medical office and a workshop for skating and equipment repair. A kitchen with relaxation area and an extensive rehabilitation area with sauna, jacuzzi and recovery bath are also available. The small and training arenas are equipped with 14 locker rooms.
