Shcherbakova will soon begin working in Tatiana Navka's new ice show
Tatyana Navka – Soviet, Belarusian and Russian figure skater. She has so many titles that any domestic and foreign figure skater will envy them. Having long since finished her career, she continues to make her contribution to Russian figure skating. Her shows have not needed additional advertising for a long time and are sold out. She stages both performances on ice skates and on roller skates, such as, for example, “The Kingdom of Far Away.” These are always grandiose and enchantingly beautiful projects that are remembered by viewers for a long time.
This time she invited 2022 Games champion Anna Shcherbakova to participate in her show, who will begin work on her ice project after recovering from injury. She is the first figure skater in history to land two quadruple lutzes in one program, a quadruple lutz in senior competition. She is also the first female figure skater to perform a quadruple flip cascade — triple toe loop, as well as the first figure skater in the history of world figure skating to land two quadruple flips among women in one program. The first and so far only single figure skater from Russia to win the Olympics while being the current world champion. Navka is patiently waiting for Anya to recover from her injury so she can start working with her.
Anna last shone at the Beijing Olympics two years ago, but then seriously injured her ankle, underwent a complex operation and is in rehabilitation.
According to Shcherbakova herself, she can’t wait to start collaborating with Navka.
